Over a 20+ year career at Pfizer John has gained extensive experience throughout pharmaceutical development from pre-formulation, through early first in human formulations and on to bringing promising new drug molecules successfully through the regulatory and intellectual property challenges of delivering medicines to patients.

His passion for enabling and empowering people led John to take up leadership roles across safety, operational and facilities management.  John is also a keen advocate for equity and allyship, and is a trained facilitator for the Men as Allies scheme.

Outside of work, John enjoys travel and motorsport and is currently trying to reconcile how to enjoy both responsibly with the urgent need for society to rethink its relationship with the environment and protect the Earth’s resources for future generations.
